Williston Council for the Aging works hand in hand with North Dakota Aging Services to offer a range of programs and services that empower participants to feel dignity and pride in acting for themselves in a positive atmosphere of acceptance and enrichment, and to remain as independent as possible in their own residences.

EMERGENCY CLOSURES

AS WINTER WEATHER APPROACHES PLEASE NOTE: FACILITY CLOSURES ARE DETERMINED BY THE WILLISTON COUNCIL ON AGING (WCA) EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THE FOLLOWING MAY TRIGGER A CLOSURE FOR THESE ENTITIES; THE WILLISTON SENIOR CENTER, WATFORD CITY SENIOR CENTER, NW DAKOTA TRANSIT WILLISTON & NW DAKOTA TRANSIT WATFORD CITY.

  • LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT EMERGENCY CLOSURES DUE TO WEATHER.

  • POWER OUTAGES EFFECTING ANY WCA LOCATIONS.

  • NDDOT ISSUES A NO-TRAVEL ADVISORY OR EMERGENCY TRAVEL ONLY.

CLOSURES WILL BE POSTED, AS ALLOWED, ON THIS WEBSITE, OUR FACEBOOK PAGE, RADIO & TELEVISION STATIONS.

Volunteer With Us!

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to the community? Do you strive to make a difference? Become a volunteer with our Meals on Wheels program! We provide 100+ meals to seniors daily and are seeking delivery drivers Monday-Friday. Schedules are flexible and daily time requirements are as little as one hour.
